This week Fortune magazine named the University of Maryland School of Public Health’s online master’s in public health program the best in the nation for 2025.
Starting this month, Dr. Nicole Cousin-Gossett will take on an expanded role aimed at creating a space where all undergraduate students can thrive and graduate as professionals ready to take on the greatest public health needs.
Esohe Owie came with her family to Maryland from Lagos, Nigeria in her early teens, the eldest of three siblings. Adjusting to this new world was challenging, especially when – just a few years later – she needed to navigate an unfamiliar college system.
