Tools and Training for Public Health Research and Practice
A major objective of the UM Prevention Research Center is to conduct innovative, community-engaged research to prevent chronic disease, especially among SGM populations. Part of this work includes developing, testing, and evaluating evidence-based solutions that can be shared widely and applied to promote SGM health.
The UMD-PRC provides various tools and training opportunities for mental and public health practitioners, including assessments, factsheets, toolkits, webinars, and workshops.
The SPH practice opportunities board highlights positions focused on public health practice submitted through the form or sent to us directly by public health professionals and partners.
