Report: Pandemic Exposes Educational Equity Challenges

Graduate students at the School of Public Health are a vital part of our academic community. With a wide variety of professional experiences and personal backgrounds, students in our programs share a commitment to public health and meaningful research. Located just outside of Washington, D.C., the University of Maryland School of Public Health holds strong ties to federal government agencies, global institutions based in the national capital region, as well as many regional organizations, companies and local community partners.

You can find information on this year's peer-reviewed and archived publications below:

The Department of Kinesiology Honors Program provides an opportunity for students to engage in challenging educational experiences related to the study of human movement, sport, and exercise. Students with strong intellectual interests and the ability to pursue those interests at a high level are eligible for this program.

There are a variety of advisors available to assist you with your degree progress and future plans. Kinesiology students are not assigned an advisor, but rather can select an advisor to best meet their needs. Please review the specializations each advisor has to determine who you should meet with. While advising is not mandatory each semester, it is highly encouraged you meet regularly with an advisor.

Please note that academic advisors are working both in the office and remotely. When scheduling an appointment, please note if it is held via phone, ZOOM or in person.
