Founded in 1946, Gymkana is one of the oldest continuously operating student groups at the University of Maryland. The Gymkana troupe actively promotes a message of making healthy choices by role modeling active, drug-free living. Gymkana’s primary goal is to be a positive influence on the lives of children through our performances, camps and classes. We also encourage adults to live active, healthy lives and provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn acrobatic and gymnastic skills.
Gymkana is dependent on fundraisers, sponsorships and donations from fans, alumni, businesses and corporations to operate. Your tax-exempt contribution will help cover the Troupe's practice and performance expenses as they travel the nation promoting their anti-drug, healthy living message to students. If you are interested in financially supporting our unique program, please visit the Gymkana Fund page. You may also send a check made payable to "UMCP Foundation" and put Gymkana on the memo line.
