Across America, COVID-19 vaccines are being widely distributed, but not everyone has equal access to vaccines. CommuniVax is a national effort to understand the needs of Black and Hispanic communities as they navigate the pandemic and envision a brighter future post COVID-19. 

We have interviewed community members, local community leaders, healthcare providers, parents, and public health experts to find out what is happening locally, and what we need to do going forward. 

Leveraging concrete knowledge and skills is central to on-the-ground international development work. Students applying to the Peace Corps Prep Program at the University of Maryland School of Public Health will choose one work sector in which Peace Corps volunteers work and complete at least 3 courses and 50 hours of related experience.
The Peace Corps Prep Program at the University of Maryland School of Public Health is an undergraduate certificate program that prepares students to be competitive applicants to the Peace Corps.
