Ongoing Champions Projects

Digital technologies are vital platforms and tools for people to find and use health information and services. People use these technologies to communicate and share with healthcare providers, public officials, researchers, peers, and friends and family about health. The Horowitz Center identifies digital health research and teaching as a top priority.

The Horowitz Center has a variety of projects that focus on diabetes prevention and management.

  • We work with the Maryland Department of Health to implement the Maryland Diabetes Action Plan with the local health improvement coalitions
  • We help implement and evaluate diabetes prevention and management programs
